Small Works Gallery
The work in this gallery came out of an online group called Art2Mail. This group makes fiber post cards that are 4" x 6" and the only thing that limits the design is they must be able to go thought the mail. I was lucky enough to get in the group and have had a great time "playing." In trying to figure out what to do for the post cards, I decided they are perfect for experimentation. Besides playing more with my fabric designs, I have experimented with Angelina fibers, thread clippings, beads, wire mesh, and Tyveck among other things. Because of this I began making some smaller work for sale. Some are "postcards", others are small quilts, and some are small pieces of fiber art matted and framed or mounted on stretched canvas.
