Fabrics Gallery

Since I cannot possibly use all the fabric I have painted or dyed in my art, I am happy to offer it for sale to others. My handpainted or hand dyed fabrics are unique, one-of-a-kind creations. I incorporate techniques such as Shibori, sun printing, and stamping and use items such as salt, soy wax, and/or sand for added appeal. Some processes are more time consuming than others and I often combine more than one method to produce rich, overlapping visual textures. Fabrics are priced accordingly.

Unless stated otherwise, fabrics are 100% Kona or Pima cotton. PLEASE READ the sizes, technique (dyed or painted) and fabric type (Kona or Pima)carefully. Most are fat quarters, half yard, or full yard cuts, but I occasionally have some odd sized pieces offered. In caring for your HAND PAINTED fabrics I suggest hand washing in cold water and line drying. They may be dry cleaned also. HAND DYED fabrics may be machine washed in cold water and tumbled dry on low.

The fabric color you see on your moniotor may differ slightly from the actual fabric. This is due in part to variables on individual monitor settings. If you have any questions about a particular piece, please contact me and I will be happy to help you.
